Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Joshua 1:9

February 2022

February started out with some sunshine!!!  But with the cold temperatures, it will take some time for the snow to melt away.  But it is beginning to settle.

Taken on February 8th
At least the main roads are all clear, only the side roads continue to be snow covered
On February the 1st Lon received a letter from the Office of the First Presidency letting Lon know that he has permission to seal Nathan and Loren in the Pocatello, Idaho Temple in April.  We are so excited for these two.
Our month has started out as usual, Monday, Wednesday and Fridays visiting Mom, Tuesday serving on our shift at the temple and then our English Connect classes that evening, attending the temple on Wednesday evening and Thursday taking the Zysett's and Peterson's to the temple.
February 12th
Hole #1 at 93 Golf Course, it will be a while before we can get a tee time😏 or maybe just use black balls? 😂
Our English Connect class
Sister Joanne Wallace, Dad took the foto, fellow teachers, students Lucerno and Erendida, Sister Gillermo who finished her mission this week, Nancy and Lon, Sister Wright who will be heading to El Salvador as soon as she gets her visa and Sister Bitten.
We subbed at the temple on a Wednesday evening for the Welches and I subbed on a Saturday AM shift for Debbie Bingham.
On February the 27th, we were thrilled to be able to hold Choir practice for a select choir asked to sing at our Ward Conference in May.  We haven't had choir since the pandemic began two years ago.  Voices are very rusty and will need some time to get used to singing again.  We have 5 adults on each part.  Hopefully after our Ward Conference we will be able to have regular choir with anyone who wants to join.  Things are slowly opening up after two long years of restrictions.
And our two long months of winter have ended.  We are looking forward to March and spring!
