It was amazing to be outside and not hear one horn honk! It was a beautiful morning. We went again on Wednesday with Tracy and Chandler, and we walked. Thursday we golfed with Tracy and Ashton. Again we walked. I never keep score and we call this our exercise. It really is great to be outside walking in fresh air. When Friday came, my back was again starting to hurt so we took a cart again. The sun has been shining all week and it has gotten up into the 60's. Without much wind it doesn't feel that cold. We are so thankful that they haven't closed the golf courses due to the coronavirus. We do have some new rules to follow but we at least can get some exercise in.
We made some blackberry jam this week and a blackberry pie for Easter.

They were watching conference just like we were.
Saturday and Sunday were cold and windy here, 20-40 mile an hour winds. Monday the 13th was the coldest morning yet.
But the wind was just a breeze so we just had to hit the course
Tracy and Eisley joined us today. We just about froze on the last three holes.
It never got above 40 degrees! But we got our walk in!
We were able to golf again on Tuesday and Wednesday, again walking. I think that we are just a bit out of shape from our mission. We didn't get to walk much for the last few months of the mission (or we are just older and it will take longer to do anything?)
Tuesday afternoon we got some beans canned.
We like to have beans canned so that they will cook up faster when we make chile. Since we are still under a "stay at home" order from our governor we might as well get our shelves restocked.
Wednesday morning the 15th, the wind is blowing at least 30 miles an hour!! Lon actually decided not to try to golf and mowed the lawn and made a big pot of chile instead. Oh how we long for the temple to be reopened!
We spent the rest of the month golfing almost every week day. We only ventured to the store a couple of times, trying to be obedient to the "stay-at-home" order. Lon is getting the yard spruced up and I am enjoying putting puzzles together to help and fill up our time. We enjoy studying our Sunday School lessons and each night we watch an episode of "Highway to Heaven" before we go to bed. It has been a very quiet, relaxing end of the month. We are looking forward to May and hopefully more freedom. We are so thankful for a living Prophet. We love our Savior, Jesus Christ, and are trying to follow Him.
